Conceptkiosk: State-of-the-Art Danish Craftsmanship
Technology in the Service of Innovation

Conceptkiosk is a Danish company located in Grindsted, with over 25 years of experience in designing and producing state-of-the-art interactive kiosks.
“Rosendahl Conceptkiosk was founded in 2003 by Laila and Lars Rosendahl. We currently have around 10 employees, and we are producing and selling high-quality, advanced self-service kiosks and digital signage solutions. Our market is 80% for export, primarily to Europe and the U.S.,” said Lars Jansen, Global Sales Manager.
Conceptkiosk is built on the core values of Danish craftsmanship; from design to production, quality, innovation, and flexibility are what define them. Their current growth in both the United States and Europe is a testament to their expertise and forward-thinking approach, which enables them to ship over 600 units a year.
“All our kiosks are produced in high-quality, anodized aluminum for an exceptionally durable finish, and we have our own profiles. The benefits of our kiosks are that we can customize nearly everything needed in the market. If you want printers, scanners, payment solutions—whatever it is, we can build it in,” explained Jansen. “They are primarily used for citizen service, shopping malls, hospitality, car rental, ticketing—there are a lot of different areas we’re interested in. It's all about self-service,” he added.
Taking Control Over Lead Times and Design

Until only a couple of years ago, however, Conceptkiosk was purchasing aluminum from subcontractors and sometimes had to wait up to six weeks to receive the material. Since constant R&D and innovation are part of what distinguishes them as a brand, buying the material from third parties prevented them from having full control, not only over lead times but also over changes and improvements in design.
In 2022, they decided to purchase their own laser cutter based on a trusted recommendation. As Jansen recalls:
“It was recommended by one of our business partners in Denmark, who has vast knowledge in this area. We got the know-how and the information about the machine, and it looked like the perfect fit for our company. We went to Eagle, had a meeting, and several conversations, and ended up buying a 4kW Eagle eSmart because it was a trusted machine. It’s running well. Every time we see it running, we are impressed because it’s so fast.”
An in-house laser cutter has given Conceptkiosk a great advantage, not only because they have a faster production line but also because they can constantly develop and implement innovations that differentiate them from their competitors.
“We decided to invest in this machine because we need to be at the forefront. We have the newest technology, so we can have the flexibility. We can do the development, make some tests, and cut out the plates just when we want to, and that’s needed in our business. This flexibility allows us to make customized solutions right on time, and that’s a big advantage in the kiosk market today. We have developed a climate controller that nearly no other competitor has. It controls the climate inside the kiosk, so it’ll never drop below 15°C. If it does, the blowers will start up. You can access it remotely to see how the fans are running, the temperature inside, and if it needs servicing,” said Jansen.
Lars explained that the motivation behind this innovation was energy savings and carbon footprint reduction. The climate controller enables the kiosk to use only the necessary power. When electricity is not needed, the power is shut down. “Our investment in new production facilities and the fiber laser cutter also helps us reduce our footprint,” he further commented.
Quality Partnerships as a Key to Growth

Regarding machine performance and usability, Kim Østergård Tagmos, machine operator at Conceptkiosk, said, “First of all, I was pretty amazed by how fast it was at cutting and also how precise it was. I have been cutting with it for two months now, and I think it’s getting even better. The interface was quick to learn and user-friendly.”
At Conceptkiosk, world-class quality and digital solution innovation are top priorities. When it comes to future expansion, they emphasize the importance of finding the right partners to achieve the best results rather than just growing and losing a grip on what distinguishes them. Eagle has become one of those trusted partners. In the words of Lars Jansen:
“The quality is always high. We are very happy to work with this machine. From our experience, it’s quite a good machine. And for sure, I think in the future a lot of other companies can benefit from investing in a machine like this, so I think we can recommend it.”
